Tin Litho Bathroom and Bathing Room
2 PCS including a three sided open room bathroom with bathtub, sink and mirror and toilet with privacy curtain. There is a water tank at the rear. The bathtub is not original. Additional items include a toilet paper holder with paper, towel and a composition jointed baby figure. Bathroom measures 6 ½ inches high, 12 ½ inches wide and 6 ¼ inches deep. There is paint loss and scratches commensurate with the age of the piece. An almost identical bathroom was featured in the 1928 catalogue for FAO Schwatz Toy Store. The second and smaller three sided open bathing room is tin litho painted off white with blue and red trim. It has a bathtub and faucet, shelf and mirror and a towel bar. A water tank is positioned on to the back behind the faucet that serves the bathtub. A Renwal plastic baby with his rubber duck occupy the bathtub; a white porcelain soap dish rests on the shelf.
